CSL Bakersfield is a Metaphysical New Thought Community that teaches the Science of Mind Philosophy.
We are an open, loving, supportive spiritual family, who acknowledge our oneness with an all-encompassing God. We honor the gifts and talents that are uniquely expressed through each individual in our community. Through shared leadership, the members of this community are committed to maximum spiritual unfoldment and dedicate their energy to a shared vision of expanding our youth ministry, social activities, and diversity through education. We encourage Joyful and Creative self-expression in a nurturing environment so that each person can truly live a life that is an expression of God.
We are committed to being strong and passionate Light Workers in order to create a world where Love leads the way and God is more fully revealed.

I am the Master of my dreams.
I choose to have dreams that feel good.
As I give my dreams to God,
I pay attention to the insights I receive.
My Higher Nature guides the ship of my dreams onto smooth waters.

Affirmative Prayer

How comforting it is to know that there is only One Power and One All-Knowing Presence-One Life manifesting in and through each and every one of us. We are all united. We are always supported and provided for by the One Source-God. My heart is stilled as I realize that God is ever willing to give of Itself as me. I am grateful, and I continuously open my heart so that God may have a greater expression through me.
I am so thankful for a community that is committed to a greater and greater awareness of Love as the guiding principal. I am thankful to my brothers and
sisters who travel with me so that we can prove together that God is Good. I am filled with gratitude to know that Love is the only Power and that God is for me in every endeavor.
I allow God-unconditional Love-to be present in every activity of my life and the life of this community and the people who call CSL home.
And so it is. Amen.
