Our Music department is comprised largely of gifted and talented members of our congregation.  Under the leadership of Music Director, Shari Fortino, we enjoy a wide variety of musical inspiration in our Sunday Services.

As the Consciousness of our Spiritual Community has expanded and evolved, our music department is one of the areas in which that expansion and evolution is clearly reflected. Within the past several years, we have moved from singing our congregational songs with computerized music to now having a piano accompanists, a bass player, and a drummer.

The Special Inspirational music that is a vital part of each service also lies in the very capable hands of our Music Director, Shari Fortino.  She is also the creator of Spirits on High, our in-house Inspirational band.

Spirits on High has its origin and evolvement here at the Center for Spiritual Living through Shari's love and creativity.  It began with a guitar and a couple of singers and evolved into a full band and the harmony of many vocals.  It began with the performance of other people's musical creations and has evolved into the dynamic creative compositions of its own members.  It began, as all things do, as an idea in the Mind of God and now flourishes as the beautiful manifestation that we experience each time they perform.  Many of the songs they gift us with are original compositions written by Shari Fortino and Michael Smothers.

On the Sundays that Spirits on High is not with us, Shari ensures that our musical inspiration is of a high quality by bringing in guest singers and musicians.
