Our Interim Minister

I came to the Center for Spiritual Living in Bakersfield in November of 2011 as Interim Minister and will be at the Center anywhere from six to eighteen months. Since my arrival, I have had the privilege of watching this Spiritual Community come together and move toward their next level of spiritual growth.

The Center is moving ahead through fellowship, classes, healing circles, the formation of a Pastoral Care Ministry, the formation of a women's group, a leadership discussion group and community outreach. Congregants are working diligently on updating the Center's décor for hosting upcoming weddings, concerts, speakers, etc..

It is a great blessing to me to be a part of this Center as it grows and unfolds.

My career has come full circle. I spent many years as Senior Minister at the Downey Center for Spiritual Living in Downey, CA.  Following that time, my ministry took me to a Special Portfolio Ministry. I established an inspirational website, www.expectgood.com, and each month; this site is visited by people from over thirty countries and has approximately 5,000 hits. I also enjoyed a wedding ministry, having married hundreds of couples over the years. At this time in my ministerial career, how grateful I am to return to a pulpit ministry and serve this outstanding congregation.

My mission at the Bakersfield Center for Spiritual Living is to help each member hear, at the very depth of being, that song of Spirit, not only calling them by name but calling the Divine Right Minister to step forth and lead this congregation into the next dimension of its spiritual growth. My vision is that each member of the Center joins together to celebrate Spirit as her or his life and the life of this magnificent Center.
